About Us
Founder and Managing Director of BrandPortunity, Christian Salloum has impressive credentials and experience within competitive food and beverage retail and service industries across the Middle East and North Africa.Christian is the ‘foodpreneur’ and driving force behind successful casual dining concepts, retail bakeries, quick-service restaurants, and boutique enterprises where he established the F&B divisions and contributed to successfully acquire existing brands. His holistic approach considers strategic brand development, start-up businesses and entry into new markets, development and execution of smart marketing and business plans, complete interior design concepts, launches and expansions.
He has developed and gained vital experience across the region, where he led successfully the growth and development of PAUL bakeries and restaurants across 9 countries in the MENAT, scaling the brand up to 70+ stores. He has a deep understanding of the entire industry from recruiting the right people, creating exquisitely balanced menus, re-designing and upgrading quick service restaurant facilities and trendy casual-dining venues and kitting out cool food-trucks and sumptuous fine-dining houses. Christian has successfully studied for a Bachelor of Commerce in Lebanon, a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management and an Executive Master in Business Administration at CITY, University of London.Christian enjoys cooking and has a good taste to combine food ingredients and come up deliciously with an end product. For him, the food business is about “passion”.
